a. Background

  • Theme : Romantic
  • Target Audience : Couples, Single, People who fall in love
  • Pages : Home, Rose, Search, Chatting, Library

This music app is a platform to listen romantic song. I want give my user to feel like in a romantic world. It can have direct interactions between each other with their soulmate.

What is Romantic?

Romance is the feeling we chase in relationships. Once you’ve experienced romance, you won’t forget it and you won’t stop chasing that feeling until you find it again. In dating, romance can spark chemistry like the butterfly feeling in your stomach. In a relationship, romance can keep things fresh and exciting.

(b) Mind Map

My idea for the music player is about romantic, because i think now most of the music player app is focus on the teenager and the adult. So, now i want to focus on the couple, single and people who fall in love to let them try to use this kind of music app. This app not only can listen the music, I will put the chatting inside this app let the couple easy to chat with her companion. This app also can celebrate the birthday of couple and the Valentine Day. When u forget all of the celebration day, this app also will remind you. This app also can count how many days you have been with your girlfriend or boyfriend.

Principles and Practices of Digital Media

Magazine – Print vs Digital

A magazine is a publication, usually a periodical publication, which is printed or electronically published. Magazines are generally published on a regular schedule and contain a variety of content.

DIFFERENCES

CHANGEABILITY AND LIFECYCLE

PRINT

  • more static process
  • prohibitively expensive to print test batches to check on the final outcome

DIGITAL

  •  easier to make tweaks or changes
  • preview the look before a final release
  • Changes can even be made once a project has gone live

ENGAGEMENT

  • conditions of how a user will come across your work is dependent on how and where the viewer will encounter the work
  • competing with a lot for a viewers attention.

SENSES

  • viewers to engage with content on a physical level
  • the weight of the paper or canvas that will be used
  •  not be able to engage our sense of touch
  • make the experience more immersive

SPACE AND LAYOUT

  • finite amount of space to work with, ie. A5, A4 etc
  • Alternatively, and intentionally disorderly composition
  • Legibility and text sizing are key issues when involved in projects for print.
  • Browser and screen sizes do differ hugely
  • no guarantee that the design will look and feel the same from device to device or platform to platform
  •  familiar with responsive design
  • prepared to do testing across platforms

COLOR AND RESOLUTION

  •  DPI and CMYK are the measurements
  • determined by the quality and settings
  •  CMYK (cyan, magenta, yelow, key(black) ), which are the different shades of pigment used by printers
  • PPI and RGB determine image quality
  • determines the complexity of its composition
  • RGB (red, green, blue) are the 3 colours of light which a digital screen project in various combinations
DIGITAL MAGAZINE

According to the comparison above, we know that print magazine and digital magazine have a lot of differences and advantages. But now just few people left reads print magazine such as the old people and most of the teenagers are prefer to digital magazine , that is i know. I thought that digital magazine is good than print magazine because digital is convenience than print. Print need to always take a book or somethings but digital no need, digital just need to carry your phone or laptop also can read in it. Next, sometimes print magazine need to use money to buy but digital magazine no need, it is free to all people.Last, i prefer digital magazine is good to read in life.

Introduce Yourself (Example Post)

This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
